Reporting to:  National Sales & Marketing Manager – Milling    

An opportunity exists for an experienced National Account Manager to join our Milling team at the Rhodes head office.

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver the agreed business performance targets in customer expectations, volume, revenue, margin and growth within the allocated account group whilst developing long-term, solid partnerships with key customers.

Key accountabilities

·         Manage communication within the milling business and ensure accurate and timely communication and feedback relating to national business activities.

·         Leverage support of all 10 manufacturing site stakeholders to achieve account and business objectives.

·         Forge strong relationships with key customer contacts at all levels within the business to aid the development of an intricate understanding and a mutual long-term bond between both parties.

·         Ensure all annual, monthly and quarterly budgets and forecasts are developed and submitted in a timely manner.

·         Manage and develop the business relationships between Allied Mills and the designated customers by developing and implementing long-term contractual arrangements and achieving performance targets.

·         Proactively manage product trials and innovation for key customers, providing constant communication and advice as required.

·         Collection, analysis and reporting of market data and trends relative to competitor activity, pricing, market share/trends and business opportunities.

·         Contribute to the strategic planning process and recommend how to combat strategic issues.

·         Minimum 4 years account management experience

·         Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or similar would be highly regarded
