Procurement Category Manager - Indirects

Location: Summer Hill - Head Office

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Procurement Category Manager- Indirects, to join our team in head office.

The primary responsibility of this role is to strategically source all the indirect goods and services for the company. In conjunction with the National Procurement Manager you will establish a strategy for indirects procurement, secure the best competitive arrangements with suppliers and ensure there is an uninterrupted supply of goods and services which are of a high quality.

Within this role you will analyse, review and report on the indirects cost. Along with these responsibilities you will also be challenged to continuously find ways to improve innovation, service and cost with suppliers.

The key requirements for this position are:

  • More than 4 years procurement category experience with indirect goods and services such as; energy, electrical and industrial consumables, PPE, uniforms, travel and waste management
  • Experience with strategic sourcing methodology in complex multi-site operations
  • Excellent communication and supplier relationship management skills  
  • High level of analytical and computer skills
  • Ability to network, influence and engage stakeholders
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
