A great opportunity exists for a Communications Officer to join our team based at the Rhodes head office. This is a part-time, 3 days per week position however, we will consider flexible working arrangements.
The primary responsibility of the Communications Officer is to prepare and coordinate various internal and external written communications. This includes creating, proofreading and editing communications such as letters, newsletters and memos.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Liaising with internal stakeholders and assisting them with the development and implementation of departmental communication campaigns.
· Developing and coordinating the Company wide information sessions.
· In consultation with the relevant stakeholders developing and coordinating content of the corporate website, intranet and Sharepoint.
To be successful in this position you will posses:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· A flair for business writing and superior grammar skills
· High level of energy, passion and sense of purpose
· Experience in journalism is highly regarded
· Tertiary qualifications in journalism or similar
