Location: Head Office - Rhodes
Reporting to: Grain Administration Supervisor
A position has become available at the Rhodes Head Office for a Grain Administration Officer. Reporting to the Grain Administration Supervisor, this role will primarily be responsible for transaction processing relating to grain contracts, payments and freight. The grain administration function reports through the company’s finance function.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Entering grain contract data into the grain administration IT system
· Processing both grain receivals and invoices for grain purchases
· Providing grain mill receival information to suppliers
· Processing grain payment transactions
· Generating freight billing transactions
· Reconciling grain inventory with supplier records
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· A motivated and energetic approach
· Exceptional time management skills
· Proficient use of computer applications, in particular, Microsoft Excel and SAP
· Ability to recommend and drive process improvements
· Previous grain administration experience and knowledge of grain industry practices will be highly regarded
