National Quality Manager 

 

Location: Head Office - Rhodes NSW

Reporting to: General Manager Supply Chain

An opportunity exists for a National Quality Manager to join the team at the Rhodes head office. Reporting directly to the General Manger Supply Chain, this role has eight direct reports.

As the National Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the quality team and strategic direction to the Allied Mills quality framework. You will accomplish this through an active and hands on approach to the day to day activities ensuring a standard and consistent quality structure is maintained across Allied Mills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer issue resolution
  • Customer and supplier support
  • Quality assurance compliance
  • Quality measurement and reporting
  • Establishing and maintaining HACCP, ISO, YUM, WQA, BRC and other required certifications

            To be successful in this role you will posses:

  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Proven ability in the implementation of quality systems
  • Strong time management/organisational skills
  •  Experience with HACCP, ISO, YUM, WQA, BRC and other certifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Manager in the food industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Cereal Chemistry
