Location: North Ryde NSW
Reporting to: Product Innovation Manager
An exciting and rare opportunity exists for a Product Innovation Baker to join our team at the North Ryde office.
In this role you will primarily be responsible for the test baking of products, assessing the results and keeping accurate records of all completed trials. You will ensure all baked goods are of the highest quality and within specifications so that these samples can be presented to our customers. In addition, you will advise and recommend improvements on testing and baking solutions.
As the Product Innovation Baker you will organise your own time to ensure all baking activities/trials are completed within strict timeframes as well as manage a number of baking projects.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Communicating trial/test results in a timely manner

Preparing pre-weigh following set procedures for labelling & recording

Completing reports on trial and project results

Ensuring the work environment is clean, hygienic and safe

Involvement in product development

Baking/Pastry Chef qualifications

5 years Baker/Pastry Chef experience preferably in Retail

Ability to work within required baking industry operational hours
