Location: Derrimut
Reporting to: Distribution Centre Manager
An opportunity exists for a Transport Coordinator to join our team at Derrimut on a 12-month contract.
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate all transport of outgoing product to the metropolitan and country Victoria area. This will be carried out in a way that maximises vehicle utilisation and is most cost effective.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring customer deliveries are on time and in full
Documentation & Transport activities
Managing abnormal and ad hoc transport requirements
Investigating incidents & developing & implementing corrective actions
Managing the CHEP and Loscam pallet pooling accounts
Managing the site’s export / import operation
To be successful in this role you will have:

A good understanding of pallet pooling systems

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

Experience in transport planning / scheduling
