Opportunity exists for a Transport Coordinator to join our team at Derrimut on a 12-month contract.

         The main purpose of this role is to coordinate all transport of outgoing product to the metropolitan and country Victoria area. This will be carried out in a way that maximises vehicle utilisation and is most cost effective.

          Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

              ·         Documentation of all transport activities

·         Ensuring customer deliveries are on time and in full

·         Managing abnormal and ad hoc transport requirements

·        Investigating incidents and developing and implementing corrective actions

·         Managing the CHEP and Loscam pallet pooling accounts

·         Managing the site’s export / import operation

To be successful in this role you will have:

     ·         Excellent planning and organisational skills

·         A self motivated and energetic approach

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         A good understanding of pallet pooling systems

·         Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

·         Experience in transport planning / scheduling
